The Butterfly Cottage at Hampton Island was renovated from an original caretaker's cottage into a three-bedroom guest house. The front porch, which affords a view of the charming butterfly garden, welcomes guests with gas lanterns, rocking chairs and a porch swing with butterfly pillows. The butterfly theme is continued inside with books, accessories, and artwork. Indigenous woods like antique heart pine and cypress are used throughout the house in wide plank flooring, doors, cabinets and beams.
